Disaster-Related Collection Event Notices for High-Resolution Satellite Imagery
eMap International, in conjunction with its business partner DigitalGlobe, is pleased to use the space below to announce disaster-related collection events around the globe. DigitalGlobe has a proven track record of collecting high resolution imagery after disasters (e.g., Hurricane Katrina, the Southern California Wildfires and 9/11 recovery efforts). While we cannot guarantee that every international crisis will be covered, we can assure you that every effort will be made to capture useful high-resolution satellite imagery of those indicated below. In this section of our website, you will find:
(1) Links to previews of pre-disaster imagery we may have in the QuickBird and/or WorldView-1 archive
(2) Potential access dates for post-disaster imagery with the high-resolution satellites QuickBird and/or WorldView-1
Please bookmark this page and check it frequently for updated information on disaster-related imaging. If you have any specific questions about a specific collection event, please contact the eMap Sales Team at (720) 470-7988 or bmccarty@emap-int.com.
