GeoEye-1

Launched on September 6, 2008, GeoEye-1 is equipped with the most advanced imaging technology ever fitted on a commercial satellite. Collecting data at an industry leading 0.41-meter panchromatic and 1.65-meter multispectral resolution, GeoEye-1 delivers the most detailed satellite imagery available. With improved resolution, positional accuracy and agility, GeoEye-1 is truly the second-generation of high-resolution satellites and will expand the applications for remotely sensed imagery across the spectrum of markets.
